Victoria S. Orlando

1965 - 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Victoria "Vicky" Susan Orlando, 58, of Breinigsville, PA. Born August 24, 1965 in Allentown, she was the devoted and loving daughter of James "Jim" Orlando of Allentown, and the late Yvonne (Schiavone) Orlando. A graduate of the Allentown Business School, Vicky also attended Mosser Elementary, Harrison-Morton Junior High, and was a 1983 graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School. Most recently, Vicky worked as a proud union member for Mack Trucks, and was previously employed by Fisher Pharmaceuticals for more than 11 years. Vicky loved nothing more than watching her beloved Mets play, or working in her garden surrounded by flowers and her cat. To know her was to understand her deep love for her family, with many get togethers and dinners touched by her big laugh and bright smile. She was always the first to call and sing happy birthday; the first to volunteer her time to help, and the first to tell you her opinion. Her loss cuts many of us deeply. Vicky is survived by her partner of over 16 years, Jerry Christman of Breinigsville, PA, father Jim Orlando of Allentown, brother Dominick Orlando of Quakerstown, sister Jennifer Orlando of Bethlehem, Sister Sheila, Brother in Law Rickey, and nephew Le Garrett of Birmingham, AL, niece Amanda Mattes of Atlanta, GA, and her cat Bella. She was preceded in death by her mother Yvonne, her grandmother Angela (Herman) Schiavone, Jack the Dog, Chopper, and several orange cats. A dutiful daughter and parishioner, fun loving sister, aunt, and friend, she is missed and forever loved. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Sept. 2nd 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church in Allentown, with a viewing starting at 8:30AM followed by 10:00AM Mass. Arrangements are entrusted to the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown.
