Willard Fluck Obituary

Willard H. "Bud" Fluck, age 96, of Sellersville, passed away on May 11, 2021 at the Community at Rockhill. He was the loving husband to Anna (Kachline) Fluck with whom he shared 72 years of marriage. Born in Richland Township, he was a son of the late Oswin and Anna (Horn) Fluck. Willard proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII with the 84th (Railsplitter) Infantry Division in the Battle of the Bulge. He graduated from Quakertown High School in 1942. Willard graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Muhlenberg College in 1948 and his Master of Education Degree from Temple University in 1955. Willard began his teaching career in a one room schoolhouse. He was a teacher for 5 years and guidance counselor for 29 years in the Palisades school district. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Quakertown, The American Legion Post 242 & The John Rivers Memorial VFW Post 11322. Willard enjoyed singing, playing the harmonica & guitar and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving along with his wife is daughter-in-law: Barbara Fluck, grandchildren: Janelle Fluck, Jarred Fluck and Jeremy Fluck. He was predeceased by his son Roger Fluck. You are invited to visit Willard's Family and friends on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be private at Quakertown Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to John Rivers Memorial VFW Post 11322, 41 Belmont Ave., Quakertown, PA 18951. Arrangements are by Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. Thank you being a loving husband, Dad and Grand dad ... You were a great role model.
Thank you for all the family fun: picnics, skating, ping pong and best of all roasting hot dogs in your fireplace after a Sunday afternoon skating on the creek.
