William J. Hageter Jr.

William J. Hageter, Jr, 89 of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 while in the care of Alexandria Manor, Nazareth. He was the husband of the late Joan (Rogers) Hageter. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late William J. Sr. and Florence (Heckman) Hageter. Bill honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was employed at Lehigh University and Ogden Allied Services until retiring. Bill enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his loving family.

SURVIVORS: He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Sandra Chaszar of Bethlehem, Cynthia Kralik and husband Gary of Maine and Joyce Knecht and husband Bruce of Nazareth; son Barry Hageter and wife Andrea of Cary, NC; daughter in law Phyllis Hageter of Bethlehem; sister Arlene Hageter of Fountain Hill; 12 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Bruce Hageter, son in law Stephen Chaszar and siblings Nora, Anna, James and Pauline.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11 A.M. until time of the service. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
