As Commander of CWV Post #454, this is a great loss to our Military Honor Guard Family. Bill was so dedicated to doing this for others so today we our going to give our dear friend a final send off that he was so much a part of for years. Kept him in the loop even though he could not participate. God Bless our comrade!!

Dear Shayanne and Family...So very sorry for the loss of your Grandfather. It is very apparent that you loved him so very much, and that he was such a Rock in your family. Laurie and I hope the cherished memories of him will remain with you forever. And he will be at your Wedding, just close your eyes for a second and he will appear. Praying for your family....Uncle Tom and Laurie..... r

Woke up to that phone call no one wants to get. I love you so much pop-pop. All the wonderful things you did for Sam and I. All the great times at the cabin, taking me to piano lessons, guitar lessons I know your in a much more beautiful place but it doesn't take away my sadness. Please watch over Grammy she is gonna really miss you! We sat around the table at the house last night laughing about all the funny things you said and did. You and gram set the bar very high at 59 years of marriage. You are the best of example of what true love is and how long it lasts. Never gave up. It will definatley be hard to not have you at my wedding. I was praying that you would remain healthy until then. It was your time to go home. Until we meet again. You were the absolute best! So much love xoxo
"Shay, would you leave that damn car alone."
