Reverend Gordon E. Bippus, 80 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday March 15, 2026 at his home. He was born on May 10, 1945 in Hamilton, Ohio a son of the late Stanley and Frances (Dozier) Bippus.
Gordon was the pastor of New Life Church in Woodsfield, Ohio. He previously pastored churches in Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, and Florida.
Gordon's life was a testament to his unwavering faith and dedication to his Lord and Savior, Jesus. He devoted his life to recovery ministry and discipleship training for men and women. He touched countless lives through his service to the body of Christ and his commitment to helping others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Norbert Bippus.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cathy (VanSkiver/Neff) Bippus. Brother Kenny Bippus of Sebring, Florida. Children, Ladoska Neff of Middletown, Ohio. Amber (Jack) Cleary of Beallsville, Ohio. Teryn Seppala of Woodsfield, Ohio. Ivan Bippus of Hamilton, Ohio and Jennifer Bippus of Hamilton, Ohio.
He was the proud grandfather of Allana, Timo, Rexleigh, De'Shanae, Drey, Varrick, Raif, Zion, Lynly, Austin, Harlen and 8 great grandchildren.
As his family and friends remember Gordon, they celebrate a life well lived, filled with love, faith and service. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched through his ministry.
We will be honoring Gordon's life on Sunday, March 22, 11:30 am at New Life Church, 145 South Main Street, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793
In Lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made to New Life Church.
