DONNA BLAYLOCK Donna Lee Blaylock, 76, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born November 9, 1948 in Abilene, Kansas, to Herb and Doris (Steffan) Koelling. She graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1966. Donna was united in marriage to Willis Ray Blaylock on November 28, 1966 in Abilene, Kansas. They shared 56 years of marriage before his passing on September 12, 2023. Donna worked for Cessna for 15 years as an assembler. She later worked as a CNA for over 20 years at the Bethesda Home in Goessel and Shiloh Manor in Canton. Donna was a member of the TOPS ladies group. She enjoyed reading and watching horror movies. She loved dogs, but above all, loved spending her time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She is survived by her son, Ron (Whitney) Blaylock of Moundridge; daughter, Nicole Murphy of Wichita; nine grandchildren, Aaron (KaSarah) Blaylock, Steven (Olivia) Blaylock, Jordin (Matraca) Smith, Haley Smith, Devin (Makayla) Williams, Justin (Jasmine) Smith, Kyler Blaylock (Jacob Burkett), Nate Martens (Taylon Potts), and Kaity Longacre; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Wolf and Shirley Koelling of Wichita; sister-in-law, Joann (Bob) Corder of Moundridge; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Diane) Blaylock of Newton, Kenneth Blaylock of Yale, OK, and Tim (Melissa) Blaylock of Moundridge; and her beloved boxer, Bart. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Ray Blaylock; parents; sister, Sandy Elliott; and brother, Butch Koelling. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Moundridge Funeral Home. Cremation will follow with graveside service to be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Mound Township Cemetery.
