Philip Kiritsy Obituary

Philip "Phil" Kiritsy, aged 87, passed away on August 5th, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1938 to Theodore and Helen Petro Kiritsy in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Phil was a beloved husband, father, brother, and a dear friend to many. He enjoyed his family his friends & his food.

Throughout his life, he worked at DANA for many years. Phil achieved many accomplishments in engineering, sales and building a family business. He touched the lives of countless individuals through his warmth & generosity.

He will be deeply missed by his son, Nicholas Kiritsy, sister Cynthia Simpson, nieces Amy Wesson Searcy and Lynne Wesson Merrick and families; many cousins, his caregiver Heather Hunt, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley and son, Matthew.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 11am at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church to celebrate Philip Kiritsy's life and honor his contributions to our world.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Shepherd Center in memory of Philip Kiritsy.

Phil's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever be cherished.
