John Platt Obituary
John's family and friends were immensely proud when he joined the United States Army in 2003, answering the call to serve his country with honor and dedication. John was a veteran and served 2 terms of the 2nd Gulf War and the War on Terror. John was honored for outstanding service through training and combat from the Army, being a Sgt of the 82nd Air Born and stationed at Ft. Bragg. His dedication to duty will be greatly missed.
Tragically, Sgt. John Charles Platt died on March 5, 2025, in Pearland, TX at the young age of 41. John's legacy is one of courage, devotion, and unwavering love for his family and country.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Faiza and her two children, Adam and Maya who called John "Dad." Faiza's family will also miss John and the fun times they had.
John is survived by his devoted family of his mother Toni Angelo-King, stepdad Jim King, and his loving brother, Michael Platt, and Michael's spouse Emily with their 3 children Charli, Emrys and Lincoln, who will miss "Uncle John". Also included is John's special aunt Tina Angelo who would babysit John when he was a kid. He also leaves behind numerous cherished extended family and friends.

John Platt was my best friend as a child in Missouri city , great memories of playing basket ball in jeanettes drive way fishing for yellow cats off the bridge by the golf course swimming with tina and michael in the pool in the backyard . John was a great child hood friend of mine i am saddened to learn of his passing. He was a solid friend and one that i will never forget. Hes in heaven with charlie angelo and jeanette havin fun on the golf course. Gone too soon. Thank You John for being my child hood best friend - God Bless Your Soul Man.
