Alma Jean Ogle was born March 26, 1927 to Willette and Preshia (Hensley) Hill in Erick, Oklahoma. Alma recently passed away on October 12, 2016 in the city of Merced where she lived for the passed 8 years.  Alma grew up in Sweetwater, Oklahoma until she moved to California in 1945. Alma raised her children during her time as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Alma was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 40 years until she retired in 2004. In November of 2008 she moved to Merced where she enjoyed crafts, quilting and knitting. As well as spending time with friends and family.
Alma is survived by her family of 4 daughters - Glenna Cecchini, Carla Roop, Patricia Silva and Cynthia Welch-Ferreria, 1 son - Carl Welch, 15 Grandchildren, 27 Great grandchildren and 1 Great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her grandparents -  William Franklin Hill and Sarah Cathryn Witty Hill, her parents - Willette Ray Hill and Preshia Hensley Hill, her siblings - Marjorie Marce Hill, Garland, Glen and Carl Dean Hill.
