I remember being at the Souhradas when I was young as a step-child of the late Jerry Abbott. I remember the good times in Merced but most of all I remember the CHP and how they were all united. Dougie was my age and we use to play in the 60's. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families affected and a sincere blessing to the family, especially, Larry and Sara. Saddened to hear of Doug's passing. It made me reminisce about us running around town as kids on our Sting Ray bikes; and it seems even though his dad was a CHP officer we alway seemed to find a little trouble. I still remember Doug teaching me how to chew Red Man tobacco but failing to inform me not to swallow the juice, and consequently I threw up all over the front of my Sting Ray on the way home. The next time I play some ACDC I'll crank it up. God speed. My prayers and thoughts are with his family.
