I am going to make this a little longer than usual.. Kenny and I have been friends for about 25 years. We met as young guys, just before we (him first, besides his Bday is a day before mine, he had me by two years) we became teens. Him, Judy and Michael started coming to church were I attended. Kenny was an instant friend, along with his brother and sister. There was no "couple months lets feel this guy out" phase before we become friends. There was even the stent of dating his sister in jr high, and he was still my friend! :) Once high school came, Kenny played football, but never became a "jock" in the sense. He was still him, the guy that was nice to everyone, no matter what. Through our younger adult life, choices lead us in different directions. He went and served his country, I goofed off. When he was back home from the navy, we would always cross paths. Always. Then the next 15 years, we continued to do so like clockwork. Be it at the lab, karaoke, Carl's Junior, anywhere, we were bound to cross. But he would never leave it at "hey man how ya been". He would always keep conversation going, and we wouldnt get up for at least an hour, no matter where we were (Even at the lab!) I could rarely get him to engage in politics :) I am sorry that Kenny's daughter will not know him, but, he made an impact on everyone he met, there should be no problem with her ever figuring out "who her Dad would be"... Rosa, when she gets older, tell her to find someone in her heart, the kindest person that she knows, multiply that by 10, and then shes getting close - to the man her Dad is. Kenny truly was a friend to everyone he met. I am very blessed to have him as a friend for 25 years.
