Atwater, California - Paul was born to Joe & Emily Cordova in Oxnard, CA. He was the third of four boys. In 1956 The Cordova family moved to Atwater, CA. Paul was a graduate of Atwater High School and completed two years in the California Job Corp. While working multiple trades, he was best known for his profession in drywall. He worked for several companies locally & in Las Vegas Nevada for 10+ years. Paul was last employed by Merced's "The Bus" for the last three years, where he enjoyed meeting & working with many different people.
Paul was an avid Raiders & Athletics fan. He enjoyed playing a round of golf, tennis & biking. Paul loved camping, enjoyed fishing on his boat, shooting at the range & just hanging out barbecuing & drinking with his friends.
Paul is survived by his siblings, Vianna (Paul) Heath, Dennis (Lois) Cordova, Lloyd (Bridget) Cordova; sister-in-law, Sandy Cordova; Nephew, Christian Cordova; nieces, Megan Lopez-Cepero, Amy (Hiroyoshi) Okazaki, Stephanie (Nathan) Leonard, Natalie Lopez and Bianca Cordova (Davonte Wilson); and several great nephews & great nieces.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Emily Cordova; brother, Andy Cordova.
Paul has been greatly missed by his family & friends these last couple years. The Pandemic kept us from having her funeral but now we can grieve properly. None the less, it didn't lessen how much he was so loved and missed.
We appreciate all the love and support given by family & friends during this very difficult time.
Services will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Church (1799 Winton Way, Atwater, CA 95301) on May 14, 2022 (Saturday); Rosary at 9:30 / Mass at 10. Burial following at Winton Cemetery District (7651 Almond Ave, Winton, CA 95388). Celebration of life reception (will follow the burial services at Atwater Memorial Bldg. (Castle Veteran's Organization Hall) 1390 Broadway Ave., Atwater, CA. 95301.
