Richard Covert Obituary

Richard Covert was born in Merced on August 28, 1951 to William and Margaret Covert. He passed away Monday, October 27, 2008. He was 57. Richard was a Merced High School Graduate. He worked in residential construction for over 35 years in and around the Merced area. Richard loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his Harley.
He is survived by his daughter Crystal Bowden, son Sean Covert and his wife Kirsten, grandsons Elijah Bowden and Gage Covert. He is also survived by sister Virginia Baker and her husband Bill, brother William Covert and his fiancée Beatrice Chavira, nieces and nephews Buffy, Ginger, Kelly, Billy and John.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM, at First Baptist Church, 500 Buena Vista Dr. in Merced.
Arrangements are entrusted to Whitton Family Funeral Service in Merced.
