Albert C. 'Ike' Eichinger Isolde H. EichingerAlbert C. 'Ike' Eichinger April 12, 1934 - March 22, 2005

Ike was born in Mansfield, Ohio and lived there until he moved to Mt. View, California as a teenager. Ike attended San Jose State University and played football throughout his time at San Jose State. He played the position of line backer and half-back. Ike received a football scholarship to USC and graduated from USC. While attending San Jose State University and serving in the Army at Ford Ord, he became friends with Lindsay Crosby, son of Bing Crosby. They lived off base at the Crosby home on the Pebble Beach Golf Course. Ike played many times in the famed Crosby Pro-Am golf tournament.

After college Ike moved back to the Bay Area and met his wife of 45 years, Isolde H. Eichinger. Ike instantly became a loving step-father to Isolde's two young children. He had a thriving business for over 35 years as a tax consultant. This business was second only to his wife and family.

Ike is survived by his sister Emily Harlow of Malibu, his son John Aronson of San Jose, daughter Michella West, son-in-law Richard West, granddaughter Kristen West, and grandson Kyle West of Antioch.

John,

We just found out about your parents. We are deeply sorry of their loss. They were truely wonderful people and loved by many. They were exceptionally helpful when Kathy's parents (Jim and Nadine Firebaugh) past away. We would have been lost without their kind words and advice.

We will miss them dearly.
