I am so deeply saddened by this tragedy and am in utter disbelief. Carmen your dedication and love for your children is unconditional and evident everytime I saw you with Andrew and Christina. Chrisitna you have blossomed into a beautiful young lady. Words cannot describe my sorrow and my heart and prayers are with you. Carmen and Christina: Your son was a true gift from God, I looked up to him in every way despite being 11 years older than him. I drafted him to my Courtside team right before he learned about his Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I learned a lot from Andrew in getting to know him a little bit over the past 3 years, My Dad and Andrew share the same birthday and the exact same cancer path. Your son will never be forgotten in my heart, soul and mind. He left us way too early and we all know that. Please carry his torch for the rest of your lives so that his LIFE is always remembered.

Dear Carmen, Christina, and The Hamady Family,
I was very saddened to hear about the loss of Andrew. I remember him from when he was a young boy when I lived in CA years ago. Words cannot express how sorry I feel for your loss, but I think and pray for you all every day. With Love, Liza

Dearest Carmen and Christina, we are so terribly sorry for your loss - our hearts ache for you both. This is a tragedy that no mother or sister should ever have to experience. We can't begin to imagine what you are going through but we do know this - our Heavenly Father knows the profound loss you are suffering and He is there to comfort you through the Holy Spirit - Our Comforter. Jake just came home on leave from the Air Force and was looking forward to connecting with Andrew again. They had planned to meet up at church together last Sunday. That was the last news Jake had from his friend. Andrew will be deeply missed by so many. His time on earth was too short but cling to the hope and God's promise that you will be reunited with him on the other side of eternity. Praying for you both now and in the hard days ahead.

Dear Andrew's family. I am so so sorry for your loss. When I spoke to Andrew following his first bout with cancer, he was so optimistic and positive. The one thing I know is that he knew God which means he will be ok. I remembered him from Valley as he played against my son John. When I called him, he said "of course I know you Mrs. Adams", just the nicest kid one can ever know. Please know that you are in my prayers. God Bless you all.

I will never forget Andrew's smile, silly chuckle and jokes he made on a daily basis throughout Junior High and High School. He always made even the most boring classes bearable with his humor. To his family, I pray for you. That you all may keep strong and that you know that you have raised a wonderful man who has touched and inspired so many people. To Tessa, my heart and prayers go out to you through this difficult time and I hope you know that I am here and I miss you so much. To his friends and our class of 07', that we may come together because we have lost some of our classmates already after 4 years of leaving Valley but I already can see that our bond has become immensely stronger in which I am sure that Andrew loves to see as he looks down on us from Heaven.

I know that only GOD can comfort you during this time. We will never forget Andrew and will continue to keep both of you in our prayers. Love the Estrada Family. Bobbi, Jesse & Jesus.

Prayers go out to Carmen and Christina. I remember playing basketball with all the kids when we were younger and had such fun memories with Andrew, Christina, and other cousins. I really wish I knew Andrew better as we all grew up and regret not keeping in touch. From what I do know that he always had a smile on his face and always made people laugh. prayers go out to the dauo and hamady family here in the US and Lebanon. I know he is up in heaven resting peacefully.

Carmen and Christina, our son, Max, played with Andrew for one year at Valley Christian. The moment everyone in our family met Andrew we loved him. He was so welcoming and supportive of Max. We all enjoyed him so much. He had such a warm smile, wonderful character, and a fun-loving personality. He was a joy to everyone that he came in contact with and we are all thankful we had the true gift of having him in our lives. We will always remember Andrew's friendship and support of Max. He forever has a special place in our hearts. Please know we are all sending you our love and thinking of you both often. Chip, Laura, Max, and Val Hooper

Dear Daou Family,
I am so sorry. I have no words to express my sadness for your family. Andrew's cousin Gabby is my daughter's bff. Gabby text me that morning in deep pain.
I never met your son, however, my Aly knew him. Only kind words from Gabby and always bragging about him. So that in itself makes me feel like I knew him too.
As a mama who has lost a child, I know your pain. My Aly, Gabby's bff, was killed 19 months ago. I understand your shock, numbness, questions, grief. I understand your needs, desires, and wants.
Please know that you are not alone. If I can do anything for you or your family, please do not hestitate to have Gabby call me.
I know what you are going thru and want to help in any way possible.
In the meantime, do what you need to do to get through each day. You are loved and needed.
May God hold you tight in his palm as you grieve and grasp life today. He will guide and protect you.
Lots of love,
Charlene Lennon (Aly Snow's Mama and a Mama to your niece Gabby)
