Barbara J. Emery passed away peacefully on Thursday night, January 12, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite difficulties regarding her health, she still maintained her admirable sense of humor and witty charisma.
Barbara was known for her exquisite hospitality and fine eye for country décor of interior design. Her delicious cooking and holiday parties was incomparable to anyone else. The most important thing to Barbara was spending time with her family while sharing stories and laughing. She was a beloved wife to Ward Emery in his time of need while staying by his side until his death.
Barbara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Mabel Guzzetta, as well as her four grandchildren: Danielle, Mark, Maria, and Valerie. She is also survived by her dearest friend Holly Castaneda. Her magnetic personality will be immensely missed by all who knew her.
The family is requesting Mass Intentions and Rosaries for the repose of her soul.

So very sorry to see that Barbara has passed away. I worked with Barbara a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed my time with her. Was able to keep in touch with her thru cards and letters over the years, but fell out of touch just a couple years ago. She will truly be missed.
