Beverly Bostwick, age 84, of Roseville, CA, formerly of Oakland, Pleasanton, Manteca, Danville and Saratoga, California, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at home with her loving children by her side.
She was born on August 23, 1929 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of Lodovico and Marjorie (Crawford) Barovero. On July 4, 1991, she was married to Attorney Robert Burns Bostwick, the love of her life, in Saratoga, CA. Bob died on September 5, 2013.
Beverly adored her family, loved to travel with Bob, family and friends, and was known for her grace, elegance and fine taste in decorating. She also had a life-long passion for collecting antiques, especially kitchenware.
She is survived by her two sons, Dana Davis and his wife, Jerri, and Darrin Davis and his wife, Kelli, of Northern California; three step-daughters, Susan Caldwell and her husband, Ty, of Southern California, Salli Peterson, of Illinois, and Kaellen LaMonte, of Maine; Ten grandchildren, Colton, Kaycee, Brett and Lauren Davis, Erik, Brian, and Sonya Peterson, Kelsey Bostwick, Taylor Leigh Caldwell, and Michael LaMonte; and several nieces, nephews, cousins; and close friends, Don and Judy Applegate. She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother Lodovico "Vic" Barovero.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Darling-Fischer Chapel of the Hills, 615 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos, CA, with Father Rick Rodoni, officiating, followed by memories of family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014, prior to the funeral home services. Entombment committal services will be held at Reflections Mausoleum at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 225 Los Gatos-Almaden Rd., San Jose, CA, immediately following the funeral home services. A reception immediately follows these services, at approximately 1:30 p.m., at Viva Restaurant, 15970 Los Gatos Blvd., Los Gatos.
