Carlo Brusaschetti Obituary

Carlo Brusaschetti
Resident of San Jose
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Carlo Brusaschetti on January 1st in his home with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 8th, 1949 in San Jose where he lived a full life doing all of the things he loved. Preceded in death by his father Angelo, his sisters Diana and Barbara. Survived by his mother Cecelia, girlfriend Christine. His spirit is carried on by his children John and Vanessa, their spouses Holly and Jonathan and six grandchildren that he adored. His absence on this earth is devastating for those that loved him, comfort can be found that he is reunited with his family, playing golf in heaven. Visit the beach he loved, crack open a cold beer, and be joyful in remembrance of Carlo.

I often still have great memories of Carlo and the golf and fun we had together. Forever missed too young.

Carlo, Tom Maciel & I would often have lunch when I came over the hill from Santa Cruz. And true natured Carlo would always complain about the lack of advertising by Farmers Insurance. He would say, "look, Geico (Insurance) has that little lizard on TV. Everyone knows that little Geico lizard."

Well, Finally someone listed and now Farmers has great funny insurance ads on TV. Take a look. They just came a little late in his life.

Carlo was always so lively. He would enter a room full of people & immediatly engage, having us laughing & enjoying his presence. He made me realize how easy it was to open up a conversation with a stranger or to laugh with someone at the table next to you. His personality was magnetic & we had so much fun when he was around.

The King of my heart. My first love. Miss his big bear hugs. So lucky to have such a great Dad. Look forward to seeing him in heaven.
