Dear Mr. Adcock, You were my 5th and 6th grade teacher back in around 1961 at Olivas Elementary in Fremont Ca. You were the person who I admired the most in my younger days and to this day always had a special place in my heart as well. You always encouraged us to do the best we can and always used the phrase, i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. I use that to this day with my own kids. I think you were the first tallest man I had ever met, and I was always amused when you would stick your foot in the garbage can in class to push down the papers and it would get stuck. You were an inspiration to us all and I am so sorry I didn't get a chance to share with you and thank you for your inspiration. I wish you could read this now. I know you would remember. You were that kind of person who made a good impression. My condolences to your family and all those who lives you touched. May you rest now and thank you! Kathleen Brown O'Connor
