Clara L. Mancuso

Clara L. Mancuso Sept. 16, 1921-Dec. 23, 2009 Clara L. Mancuso, native of Almaden Valley for 88 years, passed away peacefully at O'Connor Hospital, December 23, 2009. Loving wife of 68 years to Albert S. Mancuso, devoted mother to Bruce and Linda Mancuso, grandmother to Sabrina McMahon, Alicia, A.J. and Frankie Mancuso, great-grandmother to Madison and Katlyn McMahon. Clara was born and raised in the old town of Almaden and settled down in Almaden Valley after her marriage to Albert, also of Almaden. Clara worked for Almaden Elementary School for 30 years and she was the PTA president prior to her employment at Almaden School. She was one of the founders of the Almaden Youth Center. Clara is known and remembered by her family and friends for her gardening especially for her over 60 orchids she raised and often made new plants for her friends. Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Monday Dec. 28, 2009 at 6:30PM at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. 2nd St. (at Reed), San Jose. A Funeral Mass, Tues. 10AM at Holy Spirit Church, 1200 Redmond Ave., San Jose. Interment to follow at Los Gatos Memorial Park.
