Cornelius G. Bellas

A long time Palo Alto resident, Neil passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 21st. Born May 23, 1930 in Springfield, Mass. Neil served as a Captain in the Air Force during the Korean War. Survived by his beloved wife, Antigone, sons John, Peter and Michael, daughter-in-laws Alisha and Paula. The proud Papou of Kristina, Maria, Sofia and Nicolas. Brother of Demetrius and wife Ann, and the late John George Bellas.Visitation will take place on Thursday, Jan. 25th at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Trisagion service at 7:30 pm at Roller & Hapgood & Tinney at 980 Middlefield Rd., Palo Alto. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 26th at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church at 900 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Neil's name to Holy Cross Church or to The American Parkinson's Disease Assoc. at 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.
