David Hobson

David Hobson Of Los Altos, California, came west from Massachusetts with his wife Kathy in 1969. They were married for 40 years. David's career was spent in the electronics industry where he was a manufacturer's representative and owned ISC, a distribution company. He later founded and owned TrackData Systems, which provides services and software systems to the international pari-mutuel racing industry. David was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a past President of Fairbrae Swim and Tennis Club of Sunnyvale and was the Publisher of National Greyhound Update. David died at home surrounded by family on April 27, 2008 after a long illness. He was devoted to his wife and two children, Kurt and Emily and was an avid sportsman, particularly when it came to fishing. David grew up in Weymouth, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Prescott Hobson and Carlita Hunt. In addition to his wife, son and daughter, David leaves his son-in-law Tim Mitchell and daughter-in-law Nicole Rossi. He also leaves his two brothers Ron Hobson and Glenn Hobson, and cousin, Rodney Hobson.
