June 2020 Coronavirus Quarantine.
Looking up old friends, I was shocked to see that you had passed.
As I read memories and condolences, I saw that there was a more recent entry so Im hoping it's not too late to offer my condolences to your family as well.
Memories of WAY back. You were my P.G.& E man. The Fountain Apartment days in Cupertino. When you got bit by the dog. Your old green dodge truck. Johns Bar on El Camino. Working in the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival. Jimmy Buffett concerts and margarita parties. Playing at the beach in Capitola. Pepsi and Snicker bars.
To Jeff and Scott I met you when you were just little boys. You both meant the world to your Father. He loved you so much. May you find comfort, peace, and laughter in all of the beautiful memories shared of him.
Respectfully,
Janet

Wow Dave. I was just going to call you and see how you were doing. Found myself looking at obituaries for people I knew when I lived in San Jose. Was shocked to see your name among them. Carol and I will certainly miss your fine sense of humor and generous nature.
See you on the other side buddy.

My buddy my friend my late night chatty phone a friend. I will miss the memory of those midnight till 4am talks about anything everything and nothing. Just talking and having a good time. Your best attribute was the way you always made everyone feel as if they were the most important person in your world. At ease just sit back and enjoy the ride. I love you and you will always have a special place in my heart that belongs to no one but you. You were a great friend to my mom and I know she enjoyed your friendship until the time of her passing. You have joined those who have been waiting for you. Though we miss you here your job has just begun. You always watched over those you loved here now your journey has a much broader expansive view. Breathe easy knowing you left your loved ones in each other's care. I love you and thank you for always making my life a little bit better just knowing you. I will miss our Chenin blanc conversations in the kitchen you in your chair at the counter and I at my standing spot in front of the dishwasher that drove you crazy because I would never sit down. Always stood in that same spot unless I was making brownies with lots of nuts and god forbid NO BURNT BOTTOMS. What a funny man you are. I'm missing my buddy and as you called it back in the day. The queens room. You made sure I felt as though I belonged when I came to visit. I was so happy at the time of your surgery you found your life partner in Denise at that time. You finally after way too many years let yourself begin a new journey. I wished your journey with Denise was to be longer, but you made the most of it. Everyone misses your craziness and just your presence. Embrace your journey. Love to you and your family.
