San Jose, CA
Dominic DiGiovanni was born September 12, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. He moved his family to San Jose, California in 1961 where he lived continuously until he passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 12, 2014.
Dominic is survived by his wife of 61 years Helen their 5 children Robert, Jayne, Linda, Daniel, and Marianne and by his brother Richard DiGiovanni.
Dominic enjoyed golfing, ballroom dancing, playing cards, growing tomatoes and especially lifting someone's spirit by telling them a joke or two. Dominic was a Branch Manager at Bank of America. Upon his retirement he had his own part time business/hobby as the DJ, "Mr. Dominick". He was an active member and the official Teller of Tales at his SIRS (Sons In Retirement) organization Branch #39. Services private to the family.
We will miss him dearly.

Dominic & Helen have been good friends of Chuck and
me. Chuck had worked with Dominic from time to time (with the bank). I really got to know
both of them on our Reno Trips that we hosted for Bank of America Retirees.
Also, through the Retirees luncheon. They
both were always trying to help, lift others
spirits.. I know Doninic is up there in heaven making the Angels smile.. Truly he will be missed. May God bless you Helen and
family.

Following is a poem my father wrote several years ago:

MY PRAYER CARD

My time on Earth is over
Time to lie in the clover
Time to reflect on lives I've touched
Time to ask “Did I do enough?”
Time to ask “Was there love?”
Time to answer “But that comes from above”
Time has come and time has passed
Time to say “It's my time at last.”
Time to ask “Did I do my best?”
Time now gone, now time to rest
