Donna was the purest, kindest soul I had ever known in my life. I had the privilege to call her my friend at Pinole Junior High and at PVHS. she was fiercely loyal and incredibly funny. The world has lost a wonderful woman.

Being one of Dan's best friends years ago, I immediately had a crush on Donna.. Though I hadn't seen her in 30 years, I vividly remember her smile and bubbly personality. Such a beautiful soul... Rest in Peace!

I remember Donna as funny, bubbly and full of life. She was incredibly devoted to her family, and was passionate about her profession. This is such a huge loss for all who loved and needed her.

Our hearts are deeply broken by the tragic loss of your dear mother and grandmother Donna. We can only imagine how tender and bruised your hearts must be. She was a beautiful soul who lived for her children and granddaughter, always putting them first before herself.

This is to Donna's grandbaby girl. It is for you to know that your grandmother's and my conversations were most often about you!I called her"Glamma"(glamorous grandma). We laughed many times over something you had said or done.She would brag about your progress in different tasks. You were your grandmother's joy, her delight, her love. I am so sorry that she didn't come home to you from work that day. I know that you don't understand it. Neither do we. But it is important for you to know that she is still with you- she will always be watching over you.
All of us at Napa State Hospital will miss her. She was fun to be with. We wish her family only the best and know that our prayers are with you now.

We knew Donna, we were neighbors. She was a very loving person, very devoted mother and especially devoted to her granddaughter. She was a very proud grandmother and loved taking care of that little girl. Her granddaughter was her pride and joy. We know that she was a very hard worker and gave her all day in and day out to that hospital and her patients. She will be greatly missed. This is a difficult time that her family, friends, and co-workers are all going through, my deepest condolences. She will be remembered.

I knew Donna only in passing at work. But it was obvious that she was a kind, compassionate person who cared about her co-workers and clients equally. Her dedication was inspiring. She will be missed.

I have only known Donna and her family for a couple of years. We were neighbors. She was a devoted mom and a devoted grandmother. She loved her granddaughter and took care of her and had hopes of maybe working closer to home to be able to take care of her family more. My deepest sympathy to her family. I knew Donna in passing, but I never had the pleasure of working side by side with her in my 28 years working at our hospital. I know many people who were friends, students,and co-workers who have told me how pretty and huge her smile was, how strong of a person that Donna was, how hard of a worker that she was, and how they enjoyed working with Donna.
To Donna's family, I want to convey my deepest sympathy and may God bless you and comfort you during this most saddest of times. I hope that you find some measure of comfort knowing how many people loved and admired Donna and thought so highly of her.
To all of you who were Donna's friends, I am so sorry for your loss and wish to convey my deepest sympathy. I wish that I had had the opportunity to have known her the way that you all have. I was stunned, shocked and deeply saddened at Saturday's news. Not one minute has gone by that I have not thought of Donna, her family and all of my co-workers.

Everyone who knew Donna loved her she was a purely kind loving soul. She always went the extra mile for her patients and co-workers. In all the years I worked woth her I never heard a unkind word leave her mouth. Donna had a deep love for all of humanity. Her death is a huge loss to everyone who knew her.
