Emilie Payette Obituary
Resident of Paradise
Emilie J. Payette passed away February 5, 2015 at LifeHouse Cypress in Paradise at the age of 90.
She was born to Edward and Wilmena Keller on September 7, 1924 in San Francisco, California. Emilie attended Balboa High School in San Francisco and graduated in June 1942. Emilie was involved in the Drum Core in San Francisco. Emilie was also a member of the Swiss Club Tell. Emilie J. Keller married Donald L. Payette Jan. 12, 1946 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in San Francisco.
Emilie worked for Pacific Telephone and New York Life Insurance prior to getting married in 1946. She was a stay at home Mom and Housewife raising us in Redwood City, California.
Emilie was a member of Discover the Rock Fellowship and Paradise Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and James Daveggio of Paradise, son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Marilyn Payette of Oregon, Grandson Robert and wife Rebecca Abrahamson of Rocklin, California and 2 great grandchildren Sarah and Josh Abrahamson of Rocklin, along with nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Payette was preceded in death, by her husband Donald Payette, by her mother and father, 1 sister (Rose Black), her daughter Rose Ann Payette and granddaughter Jangila Payette. Emilie has gone to be with the Lord.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, Feb 28th at 2:00pm at the Disover the Rock 5885 Sawmill Road, Paradise. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Discover the Rock or Lifehouse Cypress in Paradise.
