I retired from O C Marshal in 1995. Gary was the best attorney I knew. We flew together in his airplanes. Iam so sorry for OUR loss.

Gary Proctor was a great man who
I enjoyed many interesting conversations about the criminal justice system over the years while I was a young policeman In
Alameda County. My wife Karen and I will always look after your loyal wife Sandy and your two children Annalise and Brett. You would be so proud of them! You were a real star!

Think of you most everyday and tell people that of all the employers I ever had, you were the best. Ken and I remember all your kindness to us during his accident and later, his illness. Miss your emails. Cheers.

Gary your son is an amazing friend to me, he was an incredible support system for me throughout college, and he was so proud you were his dad. Brett, a man of integrity, genius, humor and compassion, always talked about how great you were in everything you did.
Brett said that you once told him, the greatest thing he could do in life was find a woman like his mom, who loved him for who he was and not for the material things he had.

The Proctor Family,
Gary you were like a second father to my son,Justin. Since he was a young boy you took him and Brett on numerous plane trips to Disneyland, Tahoe, etc. Your family welcomed him into your home and share in many family dinners. During my 15 month Army deployment you were a godsend to me for looking in on my son as well as the many encouraging emails you sent me. I'll never forget the kindnesses you, Sandy,Annalise and Brett have done for our family. Our prayers are with you all.

Gary, you were always so generous, warm and concerned for the three of us kids. I know my parents loved you for that. Thank you for letting us ride in the back of "Big Red", taking us hunting and fishing. Thanks for the plane trips and all the hand-me-down toys that helped keep me occupied for so many summer days. Thank you for pushing me at the gym and for inspiring me to be better. Thank you for being so sincerely proud of me the day I graduated Medical School. You have left such a large mark in my life. I love you and will miss you.
Sandy, Brett and Annalise, I send my blessings and love from my family to yours.

Gary, thanks for repeatedly helping me out when I needed it most and for inviting me into your circle of friends and family. Your genuine care for me, my fiance, and my kids was truly heartwarming. You always gave without expectation of return and my biggest regret now is that I am unable to repay the many favors you have bestowed upon me. I am truly sorry that I wasn't in closer contact these past few months to offer support when you needed it. I will always remember you and the good you have done for so many.

Gary has been a dear friend to Jason and myself. He was always there to help with whatever we needed; putting others needs before his own. He will be missed more than he will ever know and I feel honored to have been included in his and his family's lives. Jason and I will always be thankful of the time we had with Gary. Gary- I am so sorry that we were not able to see you since moving to Portland and I hope you understood how much we cared for and appreciated you.
