A vibrant figure in the Los Gatos community for almost 40 years, Gwen DeWitt passed away peacefully with her family in Washington DC. She is survived by her son Charles DeWitt, his wife Bonnie and their daughter Anna. A devoted mother and grandmother, her life will be celebrated with an informal memorial service at the Los Gatos Memorial Park on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 1130 AM. 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd., Los Gatos.
In lieu of flowers her family has requested donations to the Stanford Stroke Center, 780 Welch Road, Suite 205, Palo Alto, CA 94304 (650) 498-6164.

We came to love and appreciate Gwen when she entered our lives with the marriage of her son to Bonnie StClair DeWitt, our niece. Chuck and Bonnie were devoted, lovingly caring for each of their mothers until their transition to the heavenly kingdom.
