James Stolp Obituary

STOLP, James E.-- died Nov. 3, 2002, age 63 years. He was born in Chico, California in 1939. He was a graduate of Durham High School and San Jose State College. He was employed as a librarian with the city of San Jose for 31 years until his retirement. During his career, he had worked in the capacities of a children's, adult services, branch head and adult reference librarian across the city's library system.
In retirement, he enjoyed doing volunteer work with Seven Trees Branch Library, where he was known as ""Grandpa Jim"", until declining health prevented this. He is survived by his wife and son.
A graveside service will be held at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd., San Jose, Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2:00 p.m. DARLING-FISCHER CHAPEL OF THE HILLS handling the arrangements.
