Janet Louise Wright

Born in Spokane, Washington on May 21, 1926, Janet passed away on May 31, 2006. Coming to the San Jose area as a child, she resided in Saratoga since 1956. In addition to being a homemaker, Janet enjoyed many social activities with friends, including golf, modeling for charitable causes and memberships in women's organizations. Throughout the years, she was involved in Valley Monte League, Summit League and was President of Town Club. Janet volunteered her time in a variety of ways, including at Sacred Heart School and the Good Samaritan Hospital. Janet had many fine personal qualities including a great sense of humor. She was compassionate, dedicated, selfless, brave and generous to a fault.Janet is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Judge James "Nubby" Wright, her children, Jamie Curtis and her husband, Lincoln, Jim Wright and his wife, Vicky, Kelly Wright and six grandchildren.Visitation will be Sunday, June 4 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Darling and Fischer, 615 N. Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, CA. Mass and Interment will be private at Janet's request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans- P.O.
