I didn't know John very well, but he was a neighbor of mine and was always very friendly. In the short time I knew him, I could see all the wonderful things in him that were mentioned in the beautiful tribute above, especially that smile of his. John always asked how I was doing and gave me some great advice about work and other things of life. I will miss his friendly face and chatting with him, as he stood in his driveway, most usually in an A's shirt/cap (we were the only couple of A's fans in the neighborhood). My condolences to his family. May God strengthen and comfort you.

Our deepest condolences to John's family, especially his kids. This has to be the hardest loss to go through. You are not alone in feeling such a loss. We knew John through his friendship with our sons Dan & Donovan Dresti. John graduated the same year as Donovan. Such a great guy and everything stated here on Legacy is so perfectly stated. All our hearts are broken, but we must all hang on to the memories and that we were all blessed with having John in our lives. He was an angel here on earth for 41 years. Now he is has his wings in Heaven. God bless you all. May you be comforted and loved though the sorrow.
