I will miss my cousin Johnny, I always looked forward to seeing him at any family function, our last conversation was about motorcycle safety (because I was getting my lic.). When I was a young girl, he use to come by just to give the cousins rides on his Harley. He would also come by to teach my sister's and I to defend ourselves this was important to him, to ensure we were always protected and safe. He was there for me when both my brother's passed (at which time, I could not get myself together). 28 yrs ago, when I through a party he would always be there to ensure nothing happened and all was safe. I will seriously miss my cousin Johnny.

I remember a few years ago, me and Briana went shopping for shoes. Briana found a pair she really wanted, but she didn't have enough money to buy them. Who did she call? Her papi.. within a few minutes he was outside the store on his bike with a wad of cash. At that moment, it was obvious how much he loved, cared for and spoiled his loved ones. I send my condolences to the Muniz family. My prayers are with you all... <3

Dearest Uncle Johnny,
If only you could've heard and seen how loved you are and will always be. So many memories of your joking. Your days as Santa, your nights of aggrivation games, waiting to hear your bike pull up to grandma and papas house. You never forgot my birthday. Our last dance at my wedding, I will never forget. I am glad I got to tell you I loved you. I will always miss you. Say hi to Papa and take care of my angels.
Love Your Goddaughter

My deepest sorrows for the Muniz family. John and I worked together for the City of Sunnyvale and got to know him as a good friend as well as a co-worker.He was always fun to be around with. He will be sorely missed by all of his co-workers who knew him. May GOD bless him in his journey to the other side.

My fondests memories of my cousin, Johnny, were the times we spent at the beach in Half Moon Bay with our families growing up. Our thoughts and prayers are with Auntie Sophie, cousins Larry and Kathryn and family. We'll miss you, Johnny. I know you and Joaquin are riding your Harley's together in heaven. Forever with love, Robert, Debi, Joseph and Anthony Riviera.

I always loved my Uncle Johnny. I remember him taking me on a motorcycle ride and buying me a special shirt when I visited. I wish I could be there with you all in San Jose. I'm so sad to hear Uncle Johnny has left us. I will truly miss him.

My Dear Sister, and family,My heart breaks for you! My fondest and gratefull memory of John is when he drove our moving truck from California to the desolate LaBarge Wyoming, where there was no tree in sight. John flew back to California and the first thing he did was send us a tree in a terrarium. I love you! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Dodie
