Joseph J. "Joe" Teresi Sr.
Sept. 25, 1930 - May 14, 2015
Resident of Palo Alto
Joseph J. "Joe" Teresi, Sr. passed away on Thursday, after a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Joe was born in Whittier, and lived in Palo Alto since 1956. He worked as a letter carrier at the Menlo Park Post Office for 40 yrs. and was a member of the Menlo Park Serra Club, and a proud member of Mtn. View Br #47 of the Italian Catholic Federation for over 60 yrs. He cherished his family and loved the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Mabel; devoted children Joe Teresi, Jr. (Shari), Joan Perkins (Ron), and grandchildren Karen (Andy), Ryan, Chris, Reid, Russell, and Riley; He is also survived by sisters Rose Buxrud, Dorothy Fernandez (Julio), and twin brother Sam Teresi (Betty). He was predeceased by his brother Pete, beloved son Jimmy, grandson Michael, and brother-in-law Marvin. His outgoing demeanor and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Mass on Weds. May 20, 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3233 Cowper St., Palo Alto. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Rd SW, Lilburn, GA 30047.

Dear family, I am sorry for your loss. I only worked with Joe for 9 months, but memories of him and his awesome personality, still puts a smile on my face.
