Lorraine Tollner-Vaughn Obituary

Lorraine E. Tollner-Vaughn
May 10, 1921 - April 17, 2021
Resident of Palo Alto
Lorraine Tollner-Vaughn passed away in her home peacefully in her sleep. Lorraine was born and raised in San Francisco where she met Alfred T. Tollner. They married July 29, 1939. She was a widow at 48 and fortunately met Ed Vaughn and they were married for 20 years until his death in 1991. Lorraine had many hobbies. She loved to crochet, play cards, work on puzzles, and especially enjoyed bowling and golf till she retired from those sports at the age of 95. The SF Giants, 49ers, and Stanford Cardinal were her favorite teams. She never missed a sport game of her children and so enjoyed watching her grand children as well. You could hear her cheering "Attababy" and felt her presence.
Lorraine is survived by her sons Ted Tollner, Ray Tollner, Les Tollner (deceased 2020) and her daughter Nancy Traube. She was loved by everyone and was blessed with 54 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Donations in her honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
