Marco Bertozzi Obituary
December 16, 1937 - February 8, 2013
Resident of Mountain View
Marco was born in San Francisco, CA and raised in Mountain View, CA. He attended Mountain View High School and earned his AA degree from San Jose City College. He always enjoyed music and played clarinet in his youth. He worked as a carpenter in the Bay Area, and ultimately left construction in 1981 as Carpenter Superintendent for Dividend Construction. Marco was passionate about auto racing, starting in a Pit Crew in 1966 and ultimately working in a second career with NASCAR as a Chief Steward, Super Modified, Stock Cars and Sprint Cars, in San Jose and Watsonville, as well as in the San Joaquin Valley. He spent the summers of his retirement in Central Camp, CA, visiting with friends and family and working at his cabin on hobby landscape and construction projects.
Marco was passionate about family, always emphasizing the value of hard work, respect and education. He passed away on February 8th at the age of 75, and is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joyce, his daughter Angela, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, 8 nieces and 9 nephews, his brother Bobby and sister Annette. A Celebration of Life Party will be held on April 7th from 12-4pm at Michaels at Shoreline in Mountain View, CA.

My heartfelt condolances to the Bertozzi's ... I had a Cancer procedure the day of the memorial that I could not cancel. I will never forget Marcos warm smile ... Marcos kind words ... When we were kids I lived on San Leandro Ave. which was off Terra Bella. We sometimes hung out together. I am so sorry to hear he passed away.
