Maree Schlenker Obituary

Maree Carmen Schlenker
Resident of Santa Clara
Our beloved Maree Carmen Schlenker, born 2/24/34, entered into rest on 9/11/14. Maree was one of 7 siblings raised with love by parents Antone and Mary (Nascimento) Simas in Santa Clara. She spent more than 35 years as an elementary school teacher in the Campbell School District. Maree met and married the love of her life, R. Kenneth Schlenker. Maree and Ken raised two boys, Rudy and Jon. She was survived by son Jon, granddaughter Jacelyn, her husband Dusty and their children, her great-granddaughters Melibe and Avenlee. When we lost Maree, we lost a profoundly generous and caring spirit. Please join us on Saturday, September 20th at 11am for a service and celebration of her life at St. Clares Church in Roseville.

What a great loss. My deep condolences to Mrs. Schlenker's family. She was my 2nd grade teacher in 1968-69 and I have nothing but grateful memories of her kind and gentle guidance.
