Margaret Coffaro Obituary

Margaret Katherine Coffaro June 4, 1917 - Aug. 29, 2009 Marge was born 6/4/1917 in Ely, Nevada. She met the love of her life, the late Samuel Coffaro in San Jose where she was a nurse and he was in the United States Army. Their relationship bloomed into a beautiful marriage, and a long and lasting love. Marge leaves behind her two loving and devoted daughters, Sylvia Coffaro Lippert and Nancy Ann Coffaro Franey, and her son-in-law Bob Lippert, whom she truly loved as her own son. She was also very proud of her son-in-law, the late Bill Franey. Her three grandsons, Sam (Kim), Bob and Ryan (Tanja) Lippert had a very special place in her heart. She was also very blessed to have five beautiful great-grandchildren who never failed to put a smile on her face, and bring joy to her heart. She loved her trips to Reno and Lake Tahoe, playing Bingo, her San Francisco Giants, and an array of beautiful flowers. She was a very special Mom, Grandma, Nana, Aunt and friend. Her family and friends meant the world to her and they all knew how important they were in her life. She was always there for everyone who needed her, and could spend hours on the phone keeping up with all of her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by her family, but they are very fortunate to be left with an enormous amount of beautiful memories of a beautiful woman with a huge heart. She is now at peace and smiling as she is united once again with her husband Sam. May they be eternally happy. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, September 2nd from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Funeral Service on Thursday, September 3rd at 1:00 pm Oak Hill Funeral Home, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA.

Sylvia & Nancy,
I was catching up with Maryann and she informed me of your mother's passing. I remember the days at Almaden when I would see you sitting with your mom and hurting over the fact that she was unable to communicate, but you spent hours with her just loving her and being there for her. I know she was a beautiful woman because I could see it in her eyes when she'd smile at me and from the way you shared how she was when you were growing up. Keep those memories alive. I know it's been a while that she passed, but I just wanted to take the opportunity to pay my respects to you as it's new news for me and I was saddened to hear. Always remember that you were wonderful daughters to a wonderful mom and it's something I looked forward to seeing when I'd get to work in the evening. God Bless you both.

Sylvia, Nancy and family,

I was saddened to read about Marge's passing in the paper. It sounds like she lived a long and wonderful life with a family that loved her dearly.

Sylvia, I will always remember coming over to your home in Orting, Wa. and your mom was always cooking. She made some of the best food and always fed us kids. We had a lot of laughs and good times at your moms home. That just one of many good memories.

I send my condolences to all of you and your families. I know you will miss your mom but the many years of memories will sustain you for a lifetime. You were all blessed to have her for so long. She is now at peace and with Sam. God bless you all during this difficult time.
