Michael William Lawrence age 51 passed away on June 22, 2013 in Manteca, California. Michael was born to his loving mother Sue Lawrence on August 26, 1961 in San Mateo, California. A proud Redwood City resident for 40 years, Michael loved camping, fishing, boating, and being surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving mother Sue Lawrence; devoted wife Esperanza Lawrence; dearest children Felicia, Jacqueline, Michael William Jr., and Mercedes Lawrence; cherished grandson Michael I. Lawrence; and dear sisters Sheila and Denise. Friends and family are invited to attend services for Michael, on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 12:00 - 4:00 PM at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City, CA 94061.

I had just met micheal and his family when they moved into the neighborhood, letting him use my dock. We chatted a bit about living in the Bay Area and what a blessing it was to live in this neighborhood. I was blessed to meet him and his family, looking forward to seeing him on the river and welcoming him into the neighborhood. It is very tragic as to what has happened. Just talking to him one time I felt very comfortable around him. i was looking forward in getting to know him and his family. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and children. He will always be with you.

My deepest sympathy to the Lawerence Family, I never got a chance to actually meet Mike, but I did hear him outside with his family they had a lot of fun together just playing in the backyard. From what his family has told me I really missed out on getting to know a wonderful person. My thoughts & prayers are with the family today & always.
