Resident of Redding
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Michael Graham, loving son, father, husband, brother, and uncle. He was 63 years old and a current resident of Redding, CA.
Paul is predeceased by his father, James A. Graham and mother, Margaret M. Graham. He leaves behind his two sons, Kevin M. Graham and Scott T.C. Graham, and their mother, Kelly A. Graham. He is also survived by Kevin's wife Rodley Graham, and two grandchildren, Lucas and Leiana; his brother Leo J. Graham, and his wife Robyn; and his two nephews, James Graham and Christopher Graham.
Paul honorably served as a deputy for the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department for over 20 years. He served in the Detention/Corrections, Patrol, Detectives, and Courts Division. While working Westside Patrol, he was essential in the development of the first Santa Clara County Police Motorcycle Riding Skills Competition, and the first Sheriff's Vehicle Inspection Program.
Paul was honored by the San Jose Exchange Club for his service to the community with the "Blue and Gold Wounded in Service Award". During his career, he also received numerous letters of gratitude and commendation from citizens as well as other law enforcement personnel.
Formal memorial services will be held in December 2015, location, date, and time to be announced.

Saddened to hear a fellow CSM Bulldog teammate and briefly a fellow officer in Millbrae PD., had passed away. Was a fun person to be around, I'll always remember his sense of humor. God Bless you Paul.

I just heard about Paul's accident. He lateraled to Millbrae PD, where he grew up, but he only stayed a month, because he liked working in Santa Clara. Sounds like he had a good career with SCSD. Paul is second from the right, and I am in the middle.

I am so sad to hear of Paul's passing. He was a wonderful man, he loved his family. He was a very good friend to our family. He will be missed. I am sure he and Greg are riding their motors in heaven.

Just came across this. Paul was a great friend, we attended Mills High School together. We went to many auto races together and formed Harris & Graham Racing Photos. We had several images published in magazines and newspapers. We wrenched on cars together and raced them at autocross and road tracks. I have not seen him in many years. RIP my friend and go real fast on that track in haven, hit the apex, drive fast. Aloha

I was shocked and sadden to hear of the passing of Paul. Many nights of serving Paul and his family at Jack's Grill he became a friend. Always ready with a story and a joke he was always a positive to have at the bar. He deeply loved his family, that was very evident. He left too soon and will be missed.

Kelly, Kevin and Scott,
We are so saddened by your loss of your wonderful father. He was always full of smiles and loved to chat and catch up whenever we ran across him in town when he lived in Tres Pinos. He was always so proud of his boys and always was so positive about whatever direction they were taking. Our hearts go out to all of you. Hopefully, the hole in your hearts will be filled with the many wonderful memories of Paul.

I AM TRULY SADDENED, OPENED UP THE LOCAL HOLLISTER PAPER AND CAME ACROSS PAUL'S OBITUARY, MY HEART SUNK, AND MY DAY RUINED. I KNEW PAUL FROM GOLDS GYM, WHERE I WORKED FOR 5 YEARS. PAUL WAS AN AWESOME PERSON, NICEST GUY, ALWAYS SMILING AND ALWAYS HAD TIME TO TALK AND OR JOKE. Paul and I were partners for a short time in Patrol at Santa Clara County Sheriffs Dept. He was a good man who cared for others. My sympathy & prayers for him and his family.
