San Jose
Paul Syverson of San Jose, California, our Son, Brother, Father and Friend was the victim of a traffic accident November 8 in Sacramento. He was struck and killed while crossing the street at an intersection.
Paul was adventurous, fun-loving and big-hearted. Born in Minnesota, Paul grew up in San Jose and attended Santa Teresa High School. A traveler with impressive nomadic skills he lived throughout the US, from New Jersey to Arkansas, Texas to Washington. Making new friends and having incredible, experiences in new places. But his heart always returned to Santa Cruz. He was inquisitive, intelligent and educated at both Azuza Pacific University and U.C. Santa Cruz.
He is survived and missed by two sons Thomas and Joseph both of NYC and their mother Nancy Gavin Syverson of North Brunswick, NJ, brother Robert, of Fortuna, and brothers Mark and Joseph and his mother Dian all of San Jose.
