In Loving Memory
Paul Wiesehahn
Paul Wiesehahn went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 5th 2021 at the age of 101 years. He was born in Richmond, Indiana to Harry and Rose Marie Wiesehahn. Following graduation from high school, he attended Richmond Business College. He served in the Army for four years and worked as a First Sergeant in a Field Hospital during World War II. He married Lillian upon return from the war. They moved from the Central Valley to the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose in 1969. He worked in the oil industry for nearly 40 years.
Paul was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church and relied heavily on his faith. He married his second wife, Anna in 1979. They enjoyed many years of travel, golf, and bridge games together. After Anna's passing, he joined a group to play dominoes. Paul was an avid fisherman and golfer throughout his life; attaining a hole in one at the young age of 80. He was also a member of Chapter 94 Sons in Retirement and The American Legion.
Lovingly remembered by his children, Rosalie (Alan) Sheveland, Gary (Marie) Wiesehahn and Karel (Maureen) Sheveland; his grandchildren, Jeff (Janelle) Sheveland, Karen (Steve) Springer, Jen (Fritz) Leader and Mike Sheveland; and great-grandchildren, Jadon and Maggie Sheveland, Hunter, Parker and Gracie Springer and Abbey and Ben Leader; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Lillian; second wife, Anna; and his sister, Florence Wilson.
Private interment at Schulte Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in his memory.
