I worked with Bob for more than 10 years at Good Sam, he was one of the kindest, caring surgeons I have ever met. Years ago I went to Nepal after the Earth Quake, to provide medical care. care. Bob made a significant donation of items from his office without hesitation. He loved life, his family, friends and patients. He will be remembered for a life filled with love.

I send my condolences to the McKeen family for the tragic loss of Bob. I was shocked to learn of his death. Bob was such a kind and compassionate man and always had been, going back to our days in high school. I will always cherish our memories and remember his broad smile. One of his last text to me said "I promise we will get together. . ." Until we meet again my friend. . .

I have been a patient of Dr. McKeen´s since October of 2010 when he did my gastric bypass that saved my life. He was kind and really listened to me and my goals. Then in 2013 I had an aneurysm and was in the er at Good Sam. After several attempts to diagnose what was wrong and failing by other Dr´s, Dr. McKeen came over and told me "Don´t worry...whatever it is, I will fix it." At that moment I was no longer scared and knew that he would. He called me at midnight in my room to tell me it was an aneurysm and that he would do a procedure the next day to stop the bleeding. If Dr. McKeen had not come over to see me, I am convinced I would not be here today. That was the kind of man and Dr. he was. I am so saddened to learn of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. He was an amazing Dr. I will miss him.

He showed me what hope and happiness was daily. He supported me as a friend and I´m beyond grateful for knowing him over 17 years. He truly put patient care over dollar every single time, and went above and beyond to give with his whole heart. He spoke so lovingly of his family with pride each and every time we spoke. He extended that to his employees and our families and often went out of his way to make sure we were cared for medically to a high standard. I am who I am today because i knew you. I will miss you terribly and always think of you and yours as family. Goodbye (Bob) Dr. McKeen

Deep condolences to your family. I remember Bobby from elementary school on. I lost track of him after high school but he was such a kind and compassionate boy. It does not surprise me at all to learn he became a doctor. Always wanting to bring care to others.

I have no words to fully express my gratitude to you. Our journey began 17 1/2 yrs ago when you saved my life. Throughout the years, I was fortunate to call you my friend and colleague. The kids loved going to visit the office and see Dr Bob. Thank you doesn´t even seem adequate enough. Last year, you saved my life again and saw me through yet another major milestone. You are and will be dearly missed, especially your smile and hugs. You are a one in a million beautiful soul that has left us too soon. Rest In Peace Bob. Until we meet again.

I was sad to learn of Bobby's death. I lost touch of him after high school and was hoping to reconnect with him through high school reunion. I pray that you feel God's comfort as you grieve his death.

I knew Dr. McKeen for over 15 years. I was a patient of his. He truly was an amazing doctor and man. There were many times he dropped everything together me at the ER at Good Samaritan Hospital. His caring never stopped & I'm incredibly blessed to have crossed his path. My deepest condolences to his family. It's rare that one cries over losing a doctor, but I considered him a huge ally and friend. May the angels be w him and surround his family during this time. The world lost a man who truly cared
