Shuroma Herekar, born Oct. 19, 1955 in Mumbai, India passed away on Nov. 18, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband Bakul Herekar. They have settled in California since 1983. Shuroma was a Senior Technical Publication Manager at Oracle Corporation. She was also a gifted cook, artist, and a lover of all things elegant and beautiful like herself. She was the older daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manna Dey of Mumbai, India. They preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Shumita Deb, and brother in law, Jnan Deb, residing in Bangalore, India. She will always be remembered and cherished by her friends and family for the love she gave and her ever-present grace and generous spirit.
A private funeral was held Nov. 24, 2015 at Alta Mesa Funeral Home in Palo Alto, CA . A celebration of her life for all her friends, family, and colleagues will be held at a later date. To honor her generous spirit, a donation may be made at The Foundation for Women's Cancer at www.foundationforwomenscancer.org

I just saw this obituary about (Rama)
She came to America with Dada manna Dey who came to perform in America as per my husband Rasendu Sanghvi I remember both the girls hope Bakul came to my house in queens NY I try to look for them so many time but never in obituary God give strength to Bakul and sister Chumu.
