Sumiko Shiraki Obituary

Sumiko E. Shiraki

Resident of San Jose

June 21, 1926-Nov. 6, 2010

Entered into rest with her family by her side. She had shared 47 years with her late husband Jimmy. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Bobbie) and Ric (Susan) and grandchildren, Stephanie, Greg, Kristen, Allison and Jill. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Sets (Shig), Ruby (Sab), and Shyoko (Darrell) and by her numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sayo and May. The family would like to express our appreciation to the Hanchett Park House, owners and staff, for providing a caring and loving home for Mom. A private family service was held on November 9th.

Steve and Rick,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family for the loss of you mom, my brothers and sister have the most wonderful memories of your mother and father and of you both growing up on 20th Street, we lived two doors down and always playing in the street, your parents were the nicest people to know, and the best neighbors, our prayers are with you both at this difficult time, just remember the good memories.
