Jack B. Sholund
Jack B. Sholund, 66, resident of North Country Assisted Living, Grand Rapids, Minn., passed away on April 24, 2023, in the Grand Itasca Hospital.
Jack was born to Jack and Joyce Sholund on April 23, 1957, in Chisholm, Minn. Jack grew up in Hibbing, Minn, and was a talented artist whose main medium was watercolors. He enjoyed living in and painting the fauna and flora of our beautiful state. He fought a brave battle with a chronic illness that progressed through his life. He lived a good life. He loved his pets and family. His pets and family loved him.
He is survived by his brother Scott Sholund (Virginia Harris), sister Cara Lavoi (Steven), niece Amy Holsten (John), nephew Matthew Lavoi (Jodi), nephew Nathan Lavoi (Erica) and several grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece Jennifer Dolan (Matthew).
There will be a Celebration of Life later this summer.
