Mark Thomas Starkovich

Mark Thomas Starkovich, 68, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Duluth, Minn.

Born on February 5, 1957, in Eveleth, Minn., Mark was the son of Thomas and Ruth Starkovich. He proudly served in the United States Army for three years, demonstrating his dedication to his country.

Mark earned certificates in both electrical work and accounting and gained experience as a boiler operator and maintenance worker. His diverse experience proved he was a true jack of all trades.

As an avid outdoorsman, Mark found great joy in nature, particularly through his passion for fishing. Whether casting a line in a quiet lake or sharing stories of his latest catch, he cherished the time spent outdoors and with family.

Mark is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Starkovich, Kimberly Kolden, and Raeann (Carl) Parson; his grandchildren, Khyla, Riley (Levi), Codeih (Hannah), Blake, and Ryker; his great-granddaughter, Lainea; his sister, Lynn (Michael) Swanson; and also leaves behind numerous other family and friends who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ruth Starkovich; Janice Hearteau; Renee Hearteau

Private Services will be held at a later date.
