Paul A. Jensrud

Paul A. Jensrud, 68, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Aspen Grove Assisted Living in Chisholm, MN.

He was born May 30, 1957, to Russell and Lillian (Krenzelok) Jensrud in Hibbing. Paul worked various jobs throughout his life, the most recent was with AAA Tree and Snow Removal. He was a member of Assembly of God Church, Hibbing Pool League, and in his youth, Golden Gloves Boxing Association. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, grouse hunting, camping, cutting firewood, making Christmas wreaths, and dream catchers as some of his favorite pastimes.

He is survived by his two children, Jesse (Kelli) Jensrud, Detroit Lakes, MN, and Nick (Amber) Jensrud, Hibbing, MN, 6 siblings, Therese Jordan, Hermantown, MN, Mark Jensrud, Covington, GA, Timothy (Chris) Jensrud, Everett, WA, Barbara (Kevin) Cass, Hibbing, MN, Jeanne Jensrud, Hibbing, MN, and Maria (Brad) Nuthak, Litchfield, MN, four grandchildren, Jacob, Haley, Calvin, and Macey Jensrud, along with several nieces and nephews.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Lillian, his ex-wife, Susan Kay Jensrud, brother, Russell Jensrud Jr., and brother-in-law, Michael Jordan.

Funeral services for Paul will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. Ed Vesel will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home on Friday. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
