Shirlee A. Nettle
Shirlee A. Nettle, 86, of Buhl, died peacefully, Monday, March 25, 2024, at her home.
She was born August 2, 1937, in Chisholm, Minn., to Reino and Ann (Lind) Asuma. Shirlee was a Chisholm High School graduate, attended Hibbing Junior College and a longtime Buhl resident. She was united in marriage to Leonard "Jim" Nettle on July 11, 1959 in Chisholm. Shirlee worked as the Deputy Clerk for the City of Buhl for many years before her retirement. She loved spending time with her family at the cabin, reading and puzzles.
Shirlee is survived by her children: Brian Nettle, Laurie (Richard) Skoglund, John Nettle, and Dawn (Mike) Erickson; grandchildren: Amanda (Ryan), Brianna (Joe), Laine, Taylor (Julie), Tara (Tony), Megan, Myles (Amanda), Laura; great-grandchildren: Brooke, Rylee, Aylin, Gunar, Ryder, Tillie, Ernie, Mason, Braelyn and one special one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Chisholm Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Chisholm.
