Dale Matthews Obituary
Matthews, Scott (Diane) Matthews and Glenn Alan Matthews and younger sister, Linda Ludell Matthews. He hadawonderful childhood in Sweet with his brothers and sister, riding horses, playing in the pond by the house and he made lifelong friends there. Jan married Hank Baldwin and Dale gained not only a stepfather but a companion working on projects and family BBQ s. He gained a stepbrother, Steven (Christine) Baldwin; and two stepsisters, Teresa (Lee) Pfeifer and Carol (Troy) Daniel.
Dale married Joanne Beckman. God blessed them with a son, Jeremy who was the light of his life. Dale also had a daughter named Joanna who passed away shortly after birth. His son Jeremy married Nikita Matthews and Dale was blessed with a daughter-in-law and two
beautiful grandchildren, April and Liam.
Dale served in the Military in the National Guard. Following his time in the military, he attended Boise State University. Throughout his life he worked various jobs until his brother Scott taught him electrical and plumbing. He has used those skills and worked in those industries in retail and the field side for thirty five years.
Throughout his life he enjoyed being active. He spent time on many camping trips and enjoyed playing pool and was one of the best pool players. He enjoyed watching sports, supporting and rooting for his teams.
Dale was preceded in death by his father James Matthews, brother, Glenn Matthews and daughter, Joanna Matthews. He is survived by his son, Jeremy (Nikita) Matthews; mom, Jan Baldwin and stepfather, Hank Baldwin; his brothers, Terry and Scott Matthews; his sister, Linda Silene; stepsisters, Teresa Pfeifer, Carol Daniel, and stepbrother Steven Baldwin and his fiancé Lourdes Bacani.
There will be a memorial service held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
