Ronald Acuna Obituary

Emmett - An honorable man, Ronald Lee Acuna, Jr., went to Heaven on August 24, 2023. Ron was born September 5, 1946 to Viola Jean and Ronald Lee Acuna, Sr. in Wichita, Kansas.

Ron lived in Emmett, Idaho. He worked as an electrical designer for CSQHA, Boise Idaho for nearly 10 years. He was instrumental in electrical design of numerous shopping centers, business complexes and upgraded lighting on military bases. A street, "Via Acuna", was even named after him for his work designing lighting at the Olympic training pool and surrounding residential area in Mission Viejo, California.

Ron's passing has left a great void in the hearts of all his loved ones, including his children, Teri West and Ronald Lee Acuna, III; siblings, David and wife, Nancy Acuna and Constance DeBarea, step-brother, Michael Roper as well as many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Ernest Miller.

Viewing will be Tuesday, September 5, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM with funeral services being held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 6, at Potter Funeral Chapel of Emmett. Burial will follow at the Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise.
